Jordan Schafer is looking pretty solid this year for the Houston Astros

25-year old lefty swinging CF Jordan Schafer is having a solid year for the Astros so far in 2012. He has played in 47 games for the Astros so far this year and he is 45 for 176 (.256 avg, .660 OPS) with 27 runs scored, 2 homers, 15 RBIs and 14 stolen bases. Schafer has now played in 77 games in his first two years with the Astros and he is 71 for 282 (.252 avg, .647 OPS) with 41 runs scored, 3 homers, 21 RBIs and 21 stolen bases. The Astros hope that Schafer keeps playing solid all-around baseball in 2012.
