The Houston Astros have acquired Kevin Comer from the Blue Jays
The Astros have acquired 20-year old righty starting pitcher Kevin Comer as the player to be named later in the huge 10-player deal with the Blue Jays last month. Comer was the 57th overall pick (1st round) of the 2011 Amateur Draft. He pitched in 10 games (7 starts) for the Blue Jays in Rookie-ball this year and he was 3-3 with a 3.95 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP. This was a nice grab for the Astros as he is the cherry on top for what looks like to be a very good deal for the future for them.
