First half of the season was amazing for the Rockets

Blogged under Bloglockers, Front Page by Nothing but Net on Tuesday 20 February 2007 at 10:50 pm

The Houston Rockets are currently fifth in the Western Conference with a 33-19 record.  The amazing thing about that is the fact that the Rockets kept rolling even after Yao Ming broke a bone in his leg.  Juwan Howard and Dikembe Mutombo both lifted up their level of play and have helped carry the Rockets.  Tracy McGrady really stepped up his game also after Yao went down and look for him and Yao to dominate when he returns later in the month.  Look for Bonzi Wells to be a key off the bench in the second half.  This team will be very dangerous come playoff time.

    Hi all,

The All-Star game may be over, but hundreds of fans are still lining-up to collect the first-ever NBA-licensed postage labels. As a PR representative for Pitney Bowes I have watched as fans made a fast break for these history-making labels of the players fans chose to represent their conference. The l20 different labels include all-time favorites such as Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat, Tracy McGrady of the Houston Rockets and LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers , as well as logos from the East and West conferences and the event logo. Fans or memorabilia should visit http://www.pb.com/nba to check out the four different sheets of postage featuring All-Star East or All Star West starting players. Unfortunately, this first-ever customized postage is only available on the website through February 25th - then it’ll be up to the collectors to track these down. Better hustle! - Meredith
