Kyle Lowry (19 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists), Kevin Martin (18 points, 1 rebound and 3 assists) and Luis Scola (17 poinnts, 6 rebounds and 3 assists) led the way for the Rockets last night. Chase Budinger pitched in with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in this game. The Rockets are now 39-36 on the year.

The Rockets outrebounded the Nets 56-42 last night and it was a big reason for the beatdown that they applied on the road in this game. Kevin Martin (20 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assists) and Kyle Lowry (16 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 1 steal) led the way for the Rockets in this game. Goran Dragic (13 points), Patrick Patterson (13 points), Jordan Hill (11 points) and Chase Budinger (10 points) also pitched in for the Rockets last night. The Rockets are now 39-35 on the year.

The Rockets have signed 27-year old small forward Mike Harris. Harris played in 13 games (0 starts) with the Wizards & Rockets last year and he averaged 7.4 minutes, 2.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game. He has now played in 30 games (0 starts) in his first two years in the NBA and he is averaging 8.5 minutes, 3.0 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game. Harris will likely bring some instant offense off the bench whenever the Rockets call his number.

The Houston Rockets send Hasheem Thabeet to the D-League

The Houston Rockets have sent 24-year old center Hasheem Thabeet to the D-League. He played in 2 games (0 starts) for the Rockets since the deal with the Grizzlies in which he has played 4 scoreless minutes with 1 blocked shot and 3 fouls. The Rockets feel that Thabeet will be better off getting P.T. in the D-League than sitting at the end of their bench for the playoff run.

The Rockets outrebounded the Celtics 44-35 and they raced out to a 81-56 lead after three quarters before calling off the dogs last night. Kevin Martin (25 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals) and Kyle Lowry (20 points, 3 rebounds, 9 assists and 1 steal) led the way for the Rockets last night. Patrick Patterson got another start in the place of the injured Luis Scola and he responded with 18 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 blocked shots. Chuck Hayes pitched in with 11 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals last night. The Rockets are now 36-34 on the year.

Goran Dragic is fitting right in for the Houston Rockets

24-year old point guard Goran Dragic has been a perfect fit behind Kyle Lowry so far. Dragic has played in 8 games (0 starts) for the Rockets so far this year and he is averaging 13.5 minutes, 6.9 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steal. The Rockets are better off with Dragic than Brooks because Brooks was not happy as a backup.
