The Rockets have signed 23-year old rookie power forward Malcolm Thomas to a 10-day contract. The Rockets have sent Thomas to the D-League to get a good look at him.

Boykins is fun to watch as he is only 5′5″, 135 pounds, but he’s lightning fast. This was a smart move for the Rockets as Boykins will help backup Goran Dragic until Kyle Lowry is ready to return to action.
