Patrick Patterson is stepping up so far in February for the Houston Rockets

23-year old power forward Patrick Patterson has been stepping up lately for the Houston Rockets.  He has played in 5 games (all starts) for the Rockies so far in February and he is averaging 30.2 minutes, 17.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.  Patterson has now played in 45 games (36 starts) overall this year for the Rockets and he is averaging 25.9 minutes, 11.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.  He is shooting 51.5% from the floor, 37.2% from three point range and 75.5% from the free throw line so far this year…..which is impressive.  Patterson better keep up the good work as there are rumors going around that the Rockets might try to deal for a big time power forward like Josh Smith or Paul Millsap.
