The Houston Rockets didn’t show up at all last night!  They only shot 32.6% from the floor, 18.8% from the three point line and 68.4% from the free throw line last night!  They didn’t play ANY D either as the Warriors shot 54.9% from the floor and 41.9% from three point range last night.  James Harden led the way for the Rockets in this game with 35 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals.  Michael Beasley pitched in with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists in 23 minutes off the bench.  Dwight Howard played 45 minutes last night and he only shot 3 of 13 from the floor, but he still filled up the stat sheet with 8 points, 21 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.  The Houston Rockets lose this series in five games to the Warriors.

The Houston Rockets were no match for the Warriors after halftime.  Stephen Curry got hurt right before the half and he never returned, but the other Warriors stepped up their games.  The Warriors outsc0red the Rockets 41-20 in the 3rd quarter and 65-38 in the second half!  Dwight Howard was the one Rocket started that came to play today as he led the way for them with 19 points, 15 rebounds and 1 blocked shot.  James Harden had 18 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 7 steals…..but he also only shot 4 of 13 from the floor, 2 of 8 from the three point line and he turned the ball over four times.  Michael Beasley (17 points and 3 rebounds in 19 minutes) and Corey Brewer (10 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in 18 minutes) played well off the bench for the Rockets in this game.  The Rockets are now down 3-1 against the Warriors in this series.

The Houston Rockets didn’t shoot well tonight, as they only hit 39.1% from the floor, 30.6% from three point range and 60.9% from the free throw line!  In the end, the lousy shooting didn’t matter when James Harden hit a shot with 2.7 seconds left in the game to win it!  James Harden led the way for the Rockets in this game with 35 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 steals.  Donatas Motiejunas got the start and he was excellent in this game for the Rockets.  He had 14 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot in 31 minutes on the floor.  Dwight Howard filled up the stat sheet with 13 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots tonight.  Michael Beasley (12 points, 5 rebounds and 1 steal) and Patrick Beverley (10 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists) also pitched in for the Rockets tonight.  The Rockets are now down 2-1 in this series!

Game #2: Golden State Warriors 115, Houston Rockets 106

Warriors’ point guard Stephen Curry didn’t play in this game due to a badly sprained ankle.  That gave the Houston Rockets some hope tonight and they played hard, just not good enough to win.  James Harden came to play as he led the way for the Rockets with 28 points, 2 rebounds, 11 assists and 1 blocked shot in 40 minutes on the floor.  But, he only shot 7 of 19 from the floor and 1 of 8 from three point range.  But, he was up to his old self as he made 13 of 15 free throws in this game.  Patrick Beverley also came to play as he finished up with 13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots in 33 minutes on the floor.  Jason Terry (13 points and 2 rebounds in 30 minutes) and Michael Beasley (10 points and 5 rebounds in 12 minutes) also pitched in for the Rockets off the bench in this game.  Dwight Howard pitched in with 12 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocked shots in 35 minutes on the floor before fouling out late in the 4th quarter.  The Houston Rockets are now down 0-2 as this series shifts to Houston.

The Houston Rockets failed to show up in Oakland earlier today and they paid for it!  They were down 60-33 at the half!  The Rockets only shot 35.7% from the floor, 27.3% from the three point line and 50% from the free throw line today….which is downright pathetic!  James Harden “led” the way for the Rockets with 17 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.  He didn’t have any free throw attempts today, as he didn’t look like his usual self.  Dwight Howard did his part as he finished up with 14 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.  Trevor Ariza (9 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals) and Donatas Motiejunas (8 points and 2 rebounds in 12 minutes) also played hard for the Rockets.  The Rockets are now done 1-0 to the Warriors in this series!
