The Rockets couldn’t keep up with the Thunder last night, plain and simple.  James Harden only shot 7 of 22 from the floor last night, but he still led the way for the Rockets with 26 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots.  Chandler Parsons also had a rock solid game with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.  Omer Asik (13 points, 13 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots) and Francisco Garcia (11 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal in 37 minutes) also pitched in for the Rockets last night.  The Rockets are now done for the 2012-13 season as they Thunder beat them 4-2 in this series.

Game #5: Houston Rockets 107, Oklahoma City Thunder 100

The Rockets took it to the Thunder in Oklahoma City last night.  James Harden stuck it to his old team as he led the way for he Rockets with 31 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal last night.  Omer Asik (21 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocked shots), Francisco Garcia (18 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots) and Patrick Beverly (14 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) also had rock solid games for the Rockets last night.  Chandler Parsons (10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists) and Aaron Brooks (10 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 19 minutes) also pitched in for the Rockets.  The Rockets are still down 3-2 to the Thunder in this series.

Game #4: Houston Rockets 105, Oklahoma City Thunder 103

The Rockets held off the Thunder last night to stay alive in the playoffs.  Chandler Parsons stepped up big time for the Rockets last night with 27 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 1 blocked shot.  Omer Asik (17 points, 14 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) and Patrick Beverly (16 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) also had rock solid games for the Rockets last night.  James Harden had a night to forget as he only shot 4 of 12 from the floor and turned the ball over 10 times.  He finished up with 15 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, 5 steals and 1 blocked shot.  Carlos Delfino pitched in with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in 26 minutes off the bench.  The Rockets are now down 3-1 in this series.

The Rockets showed a lot of heart last night, but they just fell a tad short in the end.  James Harden led the way for the Rockets with 30 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots.  Chandler Parsons also had a rock solid game with 21 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot last night.  Francisco Garcia (18 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal and 3 blocked shots in 33 minutes) and Carlos Delfino (11 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot in 23 minutes) were solid off the bench in this game.  The Rockets are now down 3-0 to the Thunder in this series.

The Rockets only shot 39.6% from the floor last night and it negated the fact that they out-rebounded the Thunder 57-40!  James Harden only shot 9 of 24 from the floor and he turned the ball over six times, but he still led the way for the Rockets with 36 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal.  Chandler Parsons also had a rough shooting night (7 of 23 from the floor), but he still finished up with 17 points and 7 rebounds.  Rookie guard Patrick Beverly got a start and he was outstanding last night for the Rockets.  He finished up with 16 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot in 41 minutes on the floor.  Carlos Delfino (11 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist in 36 minutes) and Omer Asik (9 points, 14 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) also pitched in for the Rockets.  The Rockets are now down 2-0 in this series.

The Rockets never had a chance last night as the Thunder ambushed them right from the start of this game.  The Rockets were out-rebounded 46-39 and they didn’t play much D as the Thunder shot 53% from the floor last night.  James Harden only shot 6 of 19 from the floor last night, but he led the way for the Rockets with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.  Patrick Beverly (11 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in 28 minutes) and Carlos Delfino (10 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in 26 minutes) both pitched in off the bench for the Rockets.  The Rockets are now down 1-0 in this series.

The Rockets fell just a tad short in the track meet against the Suns in Phoenix last night.  James Harden led the way for the Rockets with 38 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 1 steal last night.  Carlos Delfino also had a solid game with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals last night.  Chandler Parsons (14 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot), Jeremy Lin (11 points, 1 rebound, 4 assists and 1 steal) and Omer Asik (4 points, 16 rebounds and 2 blocked shots) also pitched in for the Rockets last night.  The Rockets fall to 34-30 on the year.

Houston Rockets 94, Golden State Warriors 88

The Rockets outscored the Warriors 21-12 in the 4th quarter last night to surge to victory, despite only shooting 36.5% from the floor in the game!  That is because they played great defense in holding the Warriors to a paltry 37.9% shooting from the floor.  Chandler Parsons led the way for the Rockets last night with 26 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.  James Harden only shot 3 of 17 from the floor in this game, but he still finished up with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists and 3 steals.  Jeremy Lin (15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal), Carlos Delfino (12 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals) and Omer Asik (6 points, 17 rebounds and 1 assist) also pitched in for the Rockets last night.  The Rockets are now 34-29 on the year.

Dallas Mavericks 112, Houston Rockets 108

The Rockets out-rebounded the Mavericks 40-33 last night, but they didn’t play any D as Dallas shot a sizzling 54.2% from the floor and it did them in.  James Harden (28 points, 4 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 steals) and Chandler Parsons (23 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot) led the way for the Rockets last night.  Omer Asik (12 points and 15 rebounds), Jeremy Lin (12 points, 1 rebound and 3 assists) and Carlos Delfino (11 points and 6 rebounds) also pitched in for the Rockets last night.  The Rockets are now 33-29 on the year.

Houston Rockets 136, Dallas Mavericks 103

The Rockets shot 57.5% from the floor and they out-rebounded them 45-32 last night, which helped them blow the Mavericks out of the gym.  The Rockets outscored them 72-42 in the second half to blow the Mavs out.  Chandler Parsons led the way for the Rockets last night with 32 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists.  Jeremy Lin (21 points, 9 assists and 1 steal) and James Harden (21 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 1 steal) also had rock solid games for the Rockets last night.  Omer Asik (10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 steals) and Thomas Robinson (10 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals in 18 minutes) also pitched in for the Rockets last night.  The Rockets improve to 33-28 on the year.
