The Houston Rockets need to get the ball into center Dwight Howard‘s hands against the Warriors, period!  Howard is a matchup nightmare for the Warriors, so the Rockets need to take advantage of that.  Howard has played in 2 games (both starts) for the Rockets so far in the playoffs and he is averaging 32.9 minutes, 13.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.5 blocked shots per game.  He is shooting 10 of 17 (58.8%) from the floor so far in this series.  But, he is only shooting 4 of 10 (40%) from the free throw line, which surprises no one.

23-year old shooting guard James Harden is a star that the Rockets can build around and they have not had one of them in a long time.  Harden played in 78 games (all starts) for the Rockets last year and he averaged 38.3 minutes, 25.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game.  Harden has now played in 298 games (85 starts) in his first four years in the NBA and he is averaging 29.7 minutes, 16.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game.  The Rockets rescued Harden, as he would have never gotten the chance to be the kind of player he is right now if he still played with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
