The over/under for Houston Rockets wins in 2012-13 is 30.5

The Houston Rockets are in a big time rebuilding mode right now. They are one of youngest teams in the NBA and that usually leads to a lot of losses. With that in mind, I would definitely take the under for the Rockets in 2012-13. I can’t wait to see how they do, because they ripped down the roster while curiously inking Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik to big deals over the summer.

The over/under on Houston Rockets wins in 2010-11 is 48.5

The Rockets were 42-40 last season but they have made big time improvements to the roster for 2010-11. Yao & Brad Miller are going to share the center position (instead of Chuck Hayes) this year. Rookie forward Patrick Patterson & SG/SF Courtney Lee have been also brought in to solidify the bench. With those things in mind I would bet the over as the Rockets are going to be the best team in Texas this year. The Rockets are also 45-1 to win the NBA Championship and I think it’s something worth making a bet on at those odds.

The over/under for Houston Rockets wins this season is 37.5

I hate to be the bearer of bad news Rockets fans but I would have to take the under on this bet. If the Rockets win more than 37.5 games with the roster they currently have then Rick Adelman will win the Coach of the Year Award in the NBA. With T-Mac out until December and Yao out for the season I just don’t see where the points are going to come from this season and the Rockets aren’t good enough to play stall ball this year. Take the under with confidence.
